The KaRo Capillary Tube System offering the Architects and builders the flexibility to add a Heating and Cooling to the existing structure in all in one tubing system with the benefit of:

Loss of height:

Foil-back insulation=

1/4 (6mm)

Capillary tubes=

1/16" (2mm)

Drywall=

5/8" (17mm)

Loss of total height=15/16" (25mm)

Almost one inch!

Despite their small diameter, KaRo mats experiences very little loss of pressure. The water in a KaRo system mats runs through many parallel capillary tubes, rather running through just one tube, as in a system with thick tubes.

Because the capillary tubes are so small the Architects, Builders, Developers will benefit the freedom of implementing this new concept of Radiant Cooling for retrofitting or new construction!

The Velocity in the capillary tubes is always laminar. That has positive side effect that the loss of pressure in the KaRo mat grows only linear with amount of extra water, and not quadratic.
