A New

| KaRo may be applied in the industrial
or commercial application.
A mesh of thin polypropylene tubing are
filled with flowing water are installed into ceilings, walls, and
floors making these component parts capable of thermally exchanging
and storing heat.
That was our preliminary conception as
we were developing the cooling ceiling with the capillary tubes back
in the 80's. Very similar to the blood vessels in our body, the KaRo
mats collect the excess heat from a building, according to its need,
carrying it out of the building; this process being controlled by a
microprocessor, which acts as a "brain center". This can be done
much more economically than using refrigerant air, since compare to
air, water needs just a thousandth of the volume to transport the
same amount of warmth.

The KaRo
Capillary Tubes can be easily remove on a 2 x 2 acoustical metal
panel by disconnecting the flexible hose.
Self-regulating effect:
The self regulating effect can be described
by the following example:
Our human Body have a surface temperature of about
98.6ْ F (37ْ C) at a ceiling surface temperature of approximately 62ْ F (16ْ
C), the temperature difference is between the people and the ceiling, mounts
to 36 degrees. As soon as the people leaves the room, the temperature of the
remaining surfaces in the room are 62ْ F (16ْ C) again, and the cooling is
turned off automatically, because the ceiling does not have warmer radiant
surfaces. It is not possible to "under-cool" the room under water
temperature. |
