KaRo Systems Radiant Heating & Radiant Cooling
A New Concept in Air Conditioning
References:
"We give your building a Thermal Life"
A mesh of thin polypropylene tubing are filled with flowing water are installed into ceilings, walls, and floors making these component parts capable of thermally exchanging and storing heat.
That was our preliminary conception as we were developing the cooling ceiling with the capillary tubes back in the 80's. Very similar to the blood vessels in our body, the KaRo mats collect the excess heat from a building, according to its need, carrying it out of the building; this process being controlled by a microprocessor, which acts as a "brain center". This can be done much more economically than using refrigerant air, since compare to air, water needs just a thousandth of the volume to transport the same amount of warmth.
Down below are the KaRo capillary tube was used in the Exposition 2000 in Hannover, Germany.
The interior of the Cycle Bowl demonstrates the ability of using the capillary tubes as an architectural presence.
Note: the fire sprinkler heads, is used as a fire suppression system!

The KaRo Capillary Tube System has been widely used in Europe, and we are now entering South America, and North America.
